The Great Chocolate Tour continued; Mignon Chocolate

Today we went to Mignon Chocolate, a chocolate store that originates from Kharkov, Ukraine. Started in 1910, Mignon Chocolate was handed down from generation to generation, and so they decided to introduce their chocolate to Angelenos. They had a wide array of truffles and chocolates, and most of them were milk, which is why it's one of my favorites. I started off with a pharaoh milk, which is a nutty truffle. I found the nutty filling a bit thick, and the layer of milk chocolate on the outside was a bit thin. Next was a Pineapple Dome, which was pretty good, however the shell of the dome was very thick, so you couldn't really taste the pineapple. I finished with a Caramel milk, which was not to my taste. For one, the caramel was super runny, which meant you had to eat the whole thing in one bite. Second, the shell was very thick, which requires a lot of bite strength to crack. They were all good overall, but there were a couple of imperfections in each one. And so another chocolate conquest ended.
